BRANDES AND COSTON QUALIFY FOR UNITED STATES SENIOR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

Bellingham, Wash. (Monday, June 29) – One career amateur and one former PGA Tour player battled their way around the challenging greens at Bellingham Golf and Country Club to qualify for the 2009 U.S. Senior Open Championship. Amateur, Tom Brandes of Bellevue, Wash. lead the field of seventy-six players with a 3-under par 68 on the 6561 yard, par 71 layout (hole #1 was played as a 469 yard par-4). He will be joined by local PGA Golf Professional, Jeff Coston of Blaine, Wash, who carded a round of 2-under par 69.
